Ira Goodkin presented a wonderful program on Chopin Etudes. We had a great turnout, and the audience was engaged and impressed with the lecture and piano playing abilities of Ira.

Rita Lopienski, Life Enrichment Director at Plymouth Place Senior Living

Thanks so very much for presenting your wonderful piano-lecture program for the residents of Plymouth Place. They were completely engaged and impressed by your skills and enjoyed having you ask questions that made them think. It was a pleasure seeing them join you around the piano after the concert. Their staying on with you after the music ended was a clear sign of their enjoyment. They hope you can come again next year.

Ira Goodkin played the piano and lectured to my Humanities classes at Concordia University of Chicago.  Most of these first-year students rarely get a chance to see and hear such wonderful art in 50 minutes. Not only did Ira meet all expectations, he exceeded them.  He was professional, energetic, and prepared.  Several of my students and colleagues stayed afterwards to ask questions and wanted more!

Professor Brian Fruits, Concordia University of Chicago, first year experience coordinator

It was so much fun.  Your enthusiasm made your love of the subject obvious and it was catching.  So much I didn’t know and as you said, just scratching the subject.  It’s good that you are-doing this.  You have given it at other groups.  I  hope you’ve found more.
